We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Richford/French Hill – Louis Lawrence Mott, Jr. passed away peacefully at home with his loving sister by his side, after a long battle with cancer on July 13th, 2020. Louis was known to many as “Buddy.”
He was born March 25th, 1950.
Buddy enjoyed being with friends and family and was interested in presidents from all around the world, anything crime or mob related, and was a New York Giants fan and no one could change his mind. He had a love for all types of birds.
Louis was predeceased by his father, Louis Mott, Sr, foster mother, Irene Abair and brother, Randy Abair and was met at heaven’s gates by son, Gerry Mott.
Louis is survived by a daughter, Pamela Reed of California; son Douglas Mott of Vermont; brothers and sisters, Regina Mott, Louis Mott, Joey Mott, James Mott, Karen Selig, Linda Miller, Cindy Abair and Terry Abair, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nieces.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice Team and Bayada for their support during this time, the family would like to thank the Heald Funeral Home for their amazing support during this difficult time and also thank you to Louis’ nephew, Danny Mott and his fiancée, Ashlee Orvis of Richford for taking Louis in and making sure he was loved, comfortable and at peace.
There will be no funeral arrangements at this time. His family will be holding a gathering in due time. As he wished, he will be cremated and brought “to the best place on earth.”
We will miss your smile, laughter, jokes and knowledge. May you fly high with the Angels, King Buddy, Rest in Paradise.
Assisting the Mott family is the Heald Funeral Home, where messages of condolence are welcome at www.healdfuneralhome.com.
