He was born in Orange, Vermont on June 9, 1932, the son of late Wesley and Clara (Carleton) North. Wesley was an icon of St. Albans. He lived there for almost 32 years. He liked to take pictures of anyone and everything and to keep those photos safe in albums, to attend any party or gathering happening, to attend hockey games and all sports games where he could watch area youth playing, to stop in at the shops and stores in St. Albans, again to visit with people and to meet and greet anyone who would take the time to interact with him. But what Wesley loved was riding his three-wheeler bicycle throughout the town to be able to do all his visiting with others. Wesley also had participated in the Special Olympics and lived for the annual Maple Festival. He spent the past five years being and integral part of the Billow family, Linda, Tony and Nathan.
