Obituary for Wanda A. Spaulding
St. Albans – Wanda A. Spaulding a resident of this community since 1964, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014, at Fletcher Allen Health Care with her loving family at her side. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts on August 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Dora (Letalien) Raymond. Wanda was 82 years old. On November 26, 1955, in Hartford, Connecticut, Wanda married Roger H. Spaulding, who survives her. Wanda graduated from Beverly High School in 1949 and then worked with the Aetna Insurance Company in Hartford until her marriage in 1955. Wanda took great pleasure in spending time with family, especially her grandsons. In addition to her husband of 58 years, Roger, of St. Albans, she is also survived by her son, Lee A. Spaulding and his wife, Patricia, of St. Albans and two grandsons, Matthew and Benjamin. There will be no public visitation. A private graveside service at the St. Albans Bay Cemetery will be held at the convenience of Wanda’s family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wanda’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Vermont Chapter, 55 Day Lane, Williston, Vermont 05495.
