Obituary for Teddy A. Gilbert

St. Albans – Teddy A. Gilbert, a lifelong resident of this area passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 20, 2012, shortly after arrival at the Northwestern Medical Center. Teddy was born in St. Albans, on August 3, 1970, the son of Robert A. and Linda (Ladieu) Gilbert, Sr. Teddy was 42 years old. On August 31, 1996, in St. Albans, Teddy married Sarah Anderson, who survives him. Teddy was a 1988 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans and furthered his education at Wyoming Technical College. Teddy for twenty years was associated with Hannaford’s where he was Assistant Manager in the Produce Department. For the past six years he was a press operator at Mylan Technologies in Swanton. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing video games and the guitar. He was a member of the Harvest Bible Baptist Church in St. Albans. Survivors include his parents, Bob and Linda; his wife of sixteen years, Sarah; his three sons, Joshua and his companion, Jordyn, Eric and his fiancé, Abbey, and Noah; his granddaughter, Kinley; his brother, Robert, Jr. and his wife, Mellisa, and their two daughters, Brianna and Chelsea; his father -in-law, Robert Anderson and his wife, Avis, and his mother in-law, Nancy Bronson. Teddy is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and co-workers at Mylan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday December 28, 2012, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St. A funeral service will then be held at 12 Noon in the Heald Funeral Chapel with David Parady, Pastor of the Harvest Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be next spring at the family lot in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery.
