Obituary for Roy Maynard Graham, Sr.

Georgia - Roy Maynard Graham, Sr., a long-time resident of this area, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the UVM Medical Center with his family at his side.

Born in Hartford, CT on April 9, 1956, Roy was the son of Maynard and Irene (Jackson) Graham. He was 61 years old.

Roy married Connie King, who survives him, on August 2, 1974.

Prior to his retirement, Roy worked at Auto Electric in Essex for a number of years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to take his grandchildren riding on his four wheeler.

In addition to his wife, Connie of Georgia, Roy is survived by his children, Laura and Roy and his wife Tracy of Georgia; his grandchildren, Chelsea of Fletcher and Lacey, Samantha, Emily, Cassidy, Natalee, Roy III, Jacob, Hunter and Ryan all of Georgia; a great granddaughter Peyton, numerous nieces and nephews; a brother Joe Graham and his wife, Barb of Windsor, NY; and brothers and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by a son, David and brothers, Larry and Gary.

Friends are invited to join Roy’s family for a Memorial Service on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St. in St. Albans. The Rev. Mr. Duane Langlois, Deacon of Holy Angels Church will officiate.

Should friends desire, gifts in Roy’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
