St. Albans – Rosemary D. Miner, 79, a former resident of Lake Street Housing passed away Thursday evening, June 3, 2010, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care. Born on March 20, 1931, in St. Albans, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Hazel (Tallman) Vaudrin. Rosemary was married to Daniel F. Miner, who preceded her in death on September 15, 2001. Rosemary lived the last 5 years at Pillsbury manor in So Burlington where she enjoyed her friendship with the many staff and residents. Among the many activities provided, her passion remained strong for bingo and knitting. Survivors include her daughter, Sue Bachand and her husband, Daniel of Georgia; her grandchildren, Sean and Jessica Bachand; her brother, Armond Voudrien and his wife, Syble of Weaver, AL ; her sisters, Janet Gibeau of Pawtucket, RI, Carol Dickerson of Alton, IL, Beverly Nolan of Virginia Beach, VA and Patricia Sharp of So Carolina and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Lynn Vaudrin and brother, John Vaudrin. Rosemary’s family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So Main Street, St. Albans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in Holy Angels Catholic Church on Lake Street. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VNA, 1110 Prim Road, Colchester, VT 05446-9903 or New England Kidney Foundation serving New England, 85 Astor Ave. – Ste 2, Norwood, MA 02062-5040.
