Robert enjoyed singing tenor in the Green Mountain Barbershop Chorus. For several years, up until his illness, he was active in Cardiac Capers which is a community service variety show. He enjoyed community theater and played in many other roles, like“My Fair Lady."
He was proud of his full-blooded Welch heritage of the clan of “Pencae”, meaning “Hughes on the hill.” He lived with an admiration for literature as well as a love for writing poems, enjoyed the holidays, and took comfort in his faith.
