Obituary for Richard G. Kennison

Richard G. “Ricky” Kennison St. Albans - Richard Gary “Ricky” Kennison, 41, a lifelong area resident, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care with his loving family at his side. He was born in St. Albans on November 29, 1966, the son of Patricia (Hemingway) Delisle and the late Rodney Kennison. Ricky enjoyed fishing, playing lottery tickets and listening to country music. His favorite song was “The Dance” by Garth Brooks. His greatest enjoyment was being with family and friends, especially his mother, sister and brother. Survivors include his mother, Patricia of St. Albans, his sister, Rebecca Machia and her husband, Charles of St. Albans, his brother, Randall Kennison and his fiancée, Nancy Richard of St. Albans, a niece, Danielle Kennison, two nephews, Kyle Champagne and Randy Kennison, five special cousins, Dawn Gagne, Cindy St. Francis, Pamela Gagne, Rose Miller and Todd Hemingway, three uncles, Howard Hemingway, Junior Hemingway and Richard Hemingway and his wife, Jean and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at 1:00 P.M. in the Heald Funeral Chapel, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans with the Reverend Maurice J. Roy, Pastor of Holy Angels Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be later this spring in the Hemingway family lot in St. Albans Bay Cemetery. Ricky’s family will receive friends on Thursday from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Contributions in Ricky’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
