Obituary for Paul L. Scott
Paul L. Scott Richford - Paul L. Scott, 33, a lifelong area resident, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 10, 2007, shortly after arrival at the Northwestern Medical Center. He was born in St. Albans on June 26, 1973, the son of David D. Scott and the late, Lorna M. Bowbrick. Paul attended Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans and at the time of his death was employed at Sunhill Food of Vermont in Swanton. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, throwing horseshoes, enjoyed “Blue Grass” and “Country” Music and followed NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Tony Stewart being his favorite drivers. Survivors include his daughter, Naquashia of Highgate, his father, David D. Scott and his wife, Emelia of St. Albans, his brother, Jimmy Scott of Shelburne, his sister, Kelly Scott of St. Albans, his step-sisters, Melissa Brame and her husband, Scott of South Carolina, Heather Morse and her husband, Gilbert of South Burlington, Gretchen Ionta of Florida, Bethany Ionta and her husband, Andrew Himburger of Seattle, Washington, his step-brothers, Aaron Ionta and his wife, Jennifer of Minnesota, and Matthew Ionta of South Burlington. Paul is also survived by his aunts, Yvette Hughes of Swanton, Linda Bougor of Shelburne, and Wendy Shederick of Clarenceville, Quebec, his two uncles, Ronald Scott of Plattsburgh, New York and Ricky Scott of Manchester, New Hampshire and also many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Lorna Marilyn Bowbrick in 1975. Paul’s family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2007, from 2-4 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
