Paul F. Ditman Longs, SC/St. Albans, VT - Paul F. Ditman, 46, a resident of Longs, South Carolina and a former resident of St. Albans, Vermont passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 15, 2007, shortly after arrival at the Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin, Vermont. He was born on October 2, 1961, in Silver Spring, Maryland, the son of Joseph McGill Ditman and Emma Jane (Busbey) Ditman. On June 4, 2004, at the Paige family homestead in St. Albans, he married the former Stephanie Paige, who survives him. Paul, at the time of his death was employed by Keene Incorporated as a senior computer consultant. He and Stephanie had established the Bombing Range Art Studio and they created their own website, www.bombing-range-art.com. Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Emma Ditman of Silver Spring, Maryland, his wife, Stephanie, of Longs, South Carolina, his siblings, Beke Xenos of California, Ellen Richmond-Hearty of The Plains, Virginia, Liana Shrader of Virginia, Joseph Ditman of Longs, South Carolina, John Ditman of Oslo, Norway, Jim Ditman of Rockville, Maryland, Jane Goode of Silver Spring, Maryland and Charles Ditman of London, England. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law, Valerie Paige-Brown and her partner, Mary Paige-Brown. At Paul’s request there will be no services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a Humane Society in your area. Assisting Paul’s family is the Heald Funeral Home of St. Albans.
