Obituary for Patrick Neil Conger

St. Albans/Georgia – Patrick Neil Conger, 48, a lifelong resident of this area passed away early Wednesday July 21, 2010, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care with his loving family at his side. Born on November 22, 1961, in St. Albans, he was the son of Marette (King) Conger and the late Neil E. Conger. Pat graduated from B.F.A. H e was employed throughout the area with Dubois Construction, as a cheese maker for Lucille Farm Products, maintenance worker for R. L. Vallee and also worked with his father on the family farm. Pat was an avid deer hunter. Survivors include his children, Nick and Holly both of Swanton; his mother, Marette of Georgia; his longtime companion, Barbara Parah of St. Albans and their canine companion, “Kentucky”. Pat is also survived by his sister, Melody Adams and her husband, Royallen of Georgia, his brother, Mark and his fiancée, Laura of St. Albans, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Patrick Robtoy and Homer Evans, and many friends. In addition to his father, Pat was preceded in death by his brother, Tracy and step-son, Kyle Parah. Pat’s family will receive friends on Friday, July 23, 2010, from 7 to 9 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So Main St., St. Albans. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 2:00 P.M. in the Heald Funeral Chapel.
