St. Albans – Mildred Marie Renaudette, 87, a lifelong resident of this area passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born in Highgate, Vermont, July 31, 1923, the daughter of the late John Sidney Jackson and Vitalis (Minkler) Jackson. Mildred retired from the Northwestern Medical Center and the Tyler Place Resort. Mildred was predeceased by the love of her life for over sixty-three years, her husband, Marshall Joseph Renaudette on June 15, 2009. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Douglas and Linda Renaudette of Fairfield; Daniel and Sheila Renaudette of Walden, VT and Marcel and Lana Renaudette of Highgate Center; six daughters; Bonnie and her husband, Mick Therrien of Enid, OK; Carolyn and Robert Flynn of St. Albans; Colleen Zuren of Swanton; Jeannine Renaudette of St. Albans; Karen Renaudette of St. Albans and Penny and Dale Mashtare of Simpsonville, SC; her inherited daughter, Sally Lawyer; nineteen grandchildren, Michael, Brett and Cherie Therrien; Eugene Rich(Me’ Me’s lawn boy with special kisses) ; Marshall Rich; Holly Deso (For her humor and overnights with Me’Me’);Nicole Blouin; Travis Renaudette; Danielle Kinney; Dana Gagnon; Chris, Daniel and Joseph Renaudette; Jared, Josh and Taylor Renaudette; Lucas, Keaton and Braden Mashtare (Who’s frequent visits always made Me’Me’ feel special and brought such great joy); eighteen great- grandchildren and her sister, Bertha Cheney of Swanton. Mildred is also survived by special friends that were loving and caring and a big role in later life, Sue Stowe, Sally Lawyer, Holly Deso, Marie Bourdeau and Patty Judd. (You filled her days with rainbow lights, a kiss to wipe away her tears. We thank you for your tender care, for deep warm hugs and being there.) Mildred is also preceded in death by infant twins, Marshall and Marcelina; a grandson, Douglas Rich and sisters, Irene, Anna, Betty, Pearl and son-in-law, Eugene Rich. We would like to give a special thank you for all the support and care given to Mildred and her family during the past years, Franklin County Home Health, Janel Gamm and Betty Lavoie; Care Partners and their caring staff and participants and special friend, Albert Lareau. A private graveside service in Mount Calvary Cemetery will be held at the convenience of her family. Deacon Duane Langlois will officiate. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make memorial contributions to Care Partners, 34 Franklin Park West, St. Albans, VT 05478 or Franklin County Home Health Agency, Hospice Program, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, VT 05478.
