Houston, TX - Michael Alan Barthelemy, age 64 years, died suddenly on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at his home.
Born in Lawrenceville, IL on June 8, 1951, he was the son of the late Ernest Barthelemy and Phyllis Parrott of St. Petersburg, Florida.
On August 11, 1990, he was married to Linda L’Esperance Barthelemy in St. Albans, VT.
Michael graduated from Lawrenceville High School in Illinois in 1969 and the University of Evansville in Indiana in 1973. While at the University of Evansville, he was privileged to attend Harlaxton College in England. His first job was with the Lone Star Gas; he then worked for Arco and presently was employed by KBR as a procurement manager. Michel was involved in scouting as a Cub Scout Master and Assistant Scoutmaster. He was an avid sport shooter and a timer for the SPX Swim Team. He helped with the Huntwick Swim Team Grill and was involved in the Spring-Klein Baseball, swim teams; PACK, FINS and the Cypress Creek High School Swim Team.
Michael is survived by his wife, Linda L’Esperance Barthelemy of Houston, TX; children, John Henry, Byron, and Amy Rose Barthelemy, all of Houston, TX as well as Michael’s mother-in-law and father-in-law, Haroldine and Maurice L’Esperance of St. Albans, and sister-in-law, Laurie L’Esperance of Walnut Creek, California.
Funeral services were held on Saturday January 9th at the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Spring, Texas.
