Obituary for Marion Turnbull Lepper

St. Albans Marion T. Lepper a former resident of this community passed away early Friday, December 18, 2015, at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Connecticut.

Born in St. Albans on October 5, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Colin and Nellie (Delligan) Turnbull. Marion was 97 years old.

Marion was married in St. Marys Catholic Church on August 21, 1938, to Gordon W. Lepper, who preceded her in death on May 17, 1983.

Marion was educated in St. Albans and attended St. Marys Catholic Church. She and Gordon moved to Unionville, Connecticut and began careers with Pratt Whitney, where she retried following 21 years of employment.

Survivors include her son, William and his wife, Linda, of Canton, CT; her daughter, Marcia Alward and her husband, Allen, of Winter Haven, Fl, as well as her grandchildren, Debora Lyons, Ralph Muszynski, Jr. , Marie Lepper, Michele Lepper, MacAlan Alward, Jessica Alward and Timothy Alward. She also leaves her great-grandchildren, Crystile Lyons, Michael Lyons, Jr., Hailey Alward and Hanna Alward.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gordon, Marion was preceded in death by her daughter, Carole Muszynski and her husband, Ralph.

At Marions request funeral services will be private at the Heald Funeral Home with the Reverend Mr. Gabe Gagne, Deacon at Immaculate Conception of Mary officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery.
