Obituary for Marilyn J. Desrochers
St. Albans – Marilyn J. Desrochers, 71, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 24, 2009, at her home. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 3, 1938. She was married to Edward A. Desrochers, who preceded her in death on December 27, 1990. Marilyn for many years was a home caregiver in the Franklin County area. She attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Marilyn was a caring and loving person and was especially proud of her family. Survivors include her four sons, Gary Wood of Michigan; Robert Desrochers of St. Albans; Michael Desrochers and his wife, Shelly, of South Burlington and Joseph Desrochers and his wife, Amber, of Jeffersonville. Marilyn is also survived by three granddaughters, Alexandria, Sophia and Bridgette and close friends, Betty Ryan and Connie Kilburn. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the family lot in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery on the Lake Road. The Reverend Judith Steger Kennedy, Pastor of the First Congregational Church will officiate. Assisting the Desrochers family is Raymond “Rett†Heald of the Heald Funeral Home and Cremation Service of St. Albans.
