Obituary for Marilyn Edwards Sargent

Waterbury Center- Marilyn E. Sargent born May 26, 1928, in Waterbury, VT to Harrison and Mildred Bowers, died June 17, 2012 in St. Albans, VT at the age of 84. Marilyn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and were touched by her gentle, loving and happy spirit. Her first husband Frederick B. Edwards of Shoreham, VT predeceased her in 1960. Vernon A. Sargent predeceased her in 1977. Survivors include her daughters: Mary Lynn Jackson, and Janet Sargent; her sons: Bernard F. Edwards, F. William Edwards, Frederick B. Edwards, Charles Sargent; her Granddaughters: Melanie Guarrerra, Heather Fortin, Wesley Edwards, Kirsten Gayton, Valerie Edwards; her grandsons: David J. Edwards, Paul Edwards, Jonathan M. Edwards, Frederick Edwards, Jr., Shannon Edwards and her great grand- daughters: Sophie Guarrerra, Natalie Guarrerra, Lucy Edwards, Leah Sargent and great- grandsons: Luke Gayton, Hunter Gayton, Kyle Sargent. She was also predeceased by her sister, Priscilla Senna. In many house all at once We see my mother and she is young as she walks in. Why should the tears come, To see her laughing? That she cannot see me is of no matter: I was once her dream: Now she is mine. We all will miss you lovingly. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of her family. Those wishing to honor Marilyn’s memory are asked to contribute to the St. Albans Healthcare and Rehab Center, Activities Fund, 596 Sheldon Road, St. Albans, Vermont 05478.
