Obituary for Linda M. Covillon

St. Albans – Linda M. Covillon, a longtime area resident passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care with her loving family at her side. Born in Bangor, Maine on March 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Rita (Savard) St. Amour. Linda was 70 years old. On September 2, 1961, Linda married David Covillon, who preceded her in death on June 14, 2000. Survivors include her children, David Covillon and his wife, Patricia, of New Haven, VT, Sherry Cross and her husband, Paul, of Alburgh, VT, Kathy Bessette and her husband, Andy, of Fairfax, VT, Scott Covillon and his wife, Laura, of FL, Robert Covillon and his wife, Ann Marie, of NY and Darlene Simard and her husband, Robert, of Swanton, VT; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Aaron, KayLee, Krista, Chelsea, Kourtney, Daniel, Matthew, Emma, Maddison, Jake and Evin and her great grandchildren, Orion, Bailey and Aidan. Linda is also survived by her step-father, Robert E. Kaigle; her brother, Robert Kaigle and his wife, Nicolette, of So Burlington, VT; her sister, Darlene Zeno and her husband, Michael, of Colchester, several nieces and nephews and special friend, Judy Elwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 10, 2013, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans. A funeral service will then be held in the Heald Chapel at 4:00 PM with interment to follow in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery.
