Milton – Lester M. Eaton, III, 58, passed away Sunday evening, May 13, 2012, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family and friends. Born on December 15, 1953, in Willimantic, Connecticut, Lester was the son of the late Lester M. Eaton, Jr. and Anna Reeves McGuire. On August 8, 1981, Lester married Ann Coleman, who survives him. Lester was a 1972 graduate of Bellows Free Academy and was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, playing golf and enjoyed summer days at camp. He was a member of St. Albans Lodge # 1566, B.P.O.E. and Sons of American Legion. Survivors include his wife of thirty-years, Ann of Milton; their children, Ryan of Milton, Morgan of Jax Beach, Florida and Hannah of Pensacola, Florida; his siblings, Elberta Bergeron and husband, Dick, of Essex, Jane Eaton of Milton and Jim Eaton and wife, Janice, of Milton. Lester is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark Coleman of Brooksville, Florida, Martha and Peter Deslauriers of St. Albans, Maureen and Bob Toof of Georgia, Mary Lee and Mike Bourassa of Grand Isle, Michael Coleman of St. Albans and Amy and Steele DuBrul of Shelburne; dear friends, Debra Kimes, Peter Wielock, John Sweeney, Wally Sweeney and Gary Smith and his canine companion, Lola. In addition to his parents, Anna and Lester “Jude†Eaton, Jr. he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Madelyn and Boogie Coleman. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 9:30 AM in Georgia Plain Baptist Church on Stonebridge Road, Georgia. The Reverend Charles Kuthe will officiate. Lester’s family will receive friends immediately following the service across the road from church in the JIMMY Center. Those wishing to honor Lester’s memory are asked to contribute to help save St. Albans Bay, c/o St. Albans Watershed Association, P.O. Box 567, St. Albans, VT 05478.
