Kimberly Marie(Lebel)Covillon St. Albans Bay – A largely attended Mass of Christian Burial for Kimberly Marie (Lebel) Covillon, who passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011, was celebrated Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 11:00 AM in Holy Angels Church in St. Albans which was full to capacity with Father Maurice J. Roy, Pastor officiating. Assisting at the altar were Paul Bouchard and Fabio Choiniere. The organist was Michael Olmstead and soloist was Jeanne Begnoche. The special selection of hymns included “You Are Mineâ€, “You Are Mineâ€, “Gentle Womanâ€, “In the Arms of the Angelsâ€, The Song of Farewellâ€, “Wind Beneath My Wings†and “The Prayerâ€. Placing the Funeral Pall on Kim’s casket were her sister, Laurie Artus and good friend, Gail Bevins. Her mother, Rose Marie Label and long time companion, Mark Kimball placed the crucifix on her casket. The Holy Scriptures were proclaimed by Donna Mannings, reading from the Old Testament and Heather Hathaway reading from the New Testament. Presenting the offertory gifts were Kim’s brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Kathy Lebel. Words of remembrance and endearment were shared by family friend, Robert Thomas. Forming an honor guard was a large delegation management and co-workers from Ben & Jerry’s Homemade. Also attending were fellow graduates from Bellows Free Academy Class of 1986 and delegates from Robin’s Sheer Design, Salon Elizabeth, Guy’s Unisex Salon, Betty’s Flower Basket, BT’s Janitorial Service, Mike’s Janitorial Service, Lucky Trailer Sales, Huskey, Inc., Shooters Saloon, Overtime Saloon, Little Einstein Pre School, Vermont Mechanical, Barry Calabot, Yankee Medical, Ray’s Salvage, Martell Bait & Tackle Shop, Northwest Counseling and Support Services, Weldon Theater, St. Albans Drive-In, St. Albans Elks Lodge 1566 BPOE, and the former Olde Foundry Restaurant. Following the Mass, a reception was hosted by the family at the St. Albans Elks Lodge. Casket Bearers included Kim’s sons, Christopher and Aaron Covillon, brothers, Randall and Michael Lebel, brother-in-law, Kirk Artus and nephews, Matthew and Erik Artus. Spring interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friday afternoon, Father Roy conducted a Christian Wake Service with the family in the Heald Funeral Home.
