Obituary for Joyce Marie Remillard - Funeral Held
Joyce Marie Remillard St. Albans: A Mass of Christian Burial for Joyce Marie Remillard who passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 was celebrated Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Holy Angels Church, Lake Street, St. Albans with Father Maurice J. Roy, Pastor, officiating. Assisting at the altar were Paul Bouchard and Paul Chabot. The organist and soloist was Mary Jo Gillilan. The hymns selected included "Wayward Windâ€, “Amazing Graceâ€, “The Twenty Third Psalm – The Lord is My Shepherdâ€, “My Heart Will Go Onâ€,“Gentle Womanâ€,“Song of Farewell†and “How Great Thou Artâ€. Placing the Funeral Pall on their sister’s casket were; Patricia Remillard, Joan Dutkiewicz, Jeanne Haner and Carol Girard. The Crucifix was then placed on Joyce’s casket by her sister Patricia. Reading a passage from the Old Testament was Joyce’s niece and God Child, Donna Girard, and a reading from the New Testament was by Amber Dutkiewicz. Attending were delegates from Northwestern Medical Center, St. Albans Health and Rehab and Georgia United Methodist Church. As a special tribute to her God Mother, a niece, Donna Girard served as an honorary bearer. The casket bearers included her sister, Patricia Remillard and family members, Matt Kittell, Jessica Dutkiewicz, Desiree Dutkiewicz, Marian Dutkiewicz and Marc Dutkiewicz. Spring interment will be in the family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
