Obituary for Jesse Wayne Hooks
Georgia, VT: Jesse Wayne Hooks, 32, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at his home. Born in Dallas, Texas on December 10, 1982, he was a son of Jimmy W. and Gerry Ann (Cox) Hooks. In his youth, Jesse was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 114 in Carrollton, Texas, where he attained the highest level in scouting, by becoming an Eagle Scout. Jesse was a graduate of Creekview High School in Carrollton, Texas and married Sherri Lyn DuPriest on April 27, 2002, in Carrollton. He was employed by Above-N-Beyond Energy-Vermont, installing insulation. Jesse enjoyed his family and spending time with his children. He leaves his wife, Sherri Lyn DuPriest Hooks and their children, Ashley, Rowan and Sequoia all of Georgia, Vermont, his parents, Jimmy W. and Gerry Ann Cox Hooks of Carrollton, Texas, his brothers, James Hooks of Carrollton, Texas and Joel Hooks and his wife, Aurelia Perry Hooks of New Hampshire, his mother-in-law, Gail DuPriest of St. Albans, Vermont and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private memorial service will be held at a future date. Arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans, Vermont.
