Obituary for Jeannine L. Benoit - Funeral Held

Jeannine L. Benoit Swanton: A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeannine L. Benoit, who passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 was celebrated Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Holy Angels Church, Lake Street, St. Albans with Father Daniel Lokanga, Parochial Vicar, officiating, assisted by altar servers, Paul Bouchard and Robert Brodeur. Forming an Honor Guard was a large representation of members from the Ladies of Ste. Anne Society. Readings from the Old and New Testaments of the Scared Scriptures were proclaimed by Lillian Rainville and Rosalie Jacques. The Offertory Gifts were presented by Jeannine’s Great Granddaughter, Taylor Bevins and her Grand Daughters-in-law, Nicki Bevins and Annellie Bevins. The organist and soloist was Mary-Jo Gillilan. The selection of hymns included “Here I Am Standing Right Beside You”, “The Lord Is My Shepherd-The 23rd Psalm, “Ave Maria”, “You Are Mine”, “Here I Am Remembering Again”, “All I Ask Of You”, “Song Of Farewell”, “Angel” and “Friend”. Attending were delegates from Giordano Manor, Swanton Town and Village Officials, Robin’s Sheer Designs, Robert Thomas Janitorial Service, Following the Mass, words of Remembrance were fondly shared by Jeannine’s Grandsons, Tom Bevins and Scott Bevins. The Ladies of Ste. Anne in unison, then offered a prayer and a tribute for their fellow member, led by Rosalie Jacques. Urn Ark Bearers included Jeannine’s Son-In-Law, Bruce Bevins and Grandsons, Tom Bevins, Scott Bevins and Richard Bevins. Interment took place in the family lot in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with committal prayers offered by Father Dan Lokanga, followed by a luncheon hosted by the Ladies of Ste. Anne in the Holy Angels Parish Center. Monday evening, Father Dan Lokanga offered Vigil Prayers in the Heald Funeral Home , 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
