St. Albans – Janet L. Bushey, a lifelong resident of this area passed away peacefully Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Franklin County Rehab Center with her family at her side. Born on October 6, 1930, in St. Albans, she was the daughter of the late, Leodore L. and Doris E. (Cantwell) Remillard. Janet was 82 years old. On November 9, 1949, she married Fay D. Bushey, who preceded her in death on November 24, 1999. Janet was the bookkeeper associated with her husband’s business – Bushey’s Garage, housing development and excavating. She was a communicant of Holy Angles Parish. She and Fay would spend their winters in Florida. Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Archambault and her husband, Robert, of East Berkshire, Linda Shover and her husband, Alan, of Grand Isle, Vermont and Florida, Lorraine Pierce and husband, Bob, of Essex Junction and Howard Bushey and his wife, Debbie, of St. Albans; her grandchildren, Tony Archambault and his wife, Jodie, Jamie Archambault and his wife, Marsha, Laurie Stanley and her husband, Rod, Chad Shover and his wife, Jackie, Dean Shover and his wife, Michelle, Christy Bougor and her husband, Henry, Julie Dufresne and her husband, Kevin, Charlie Pierce and his fiancée, Johanna O’Briant, Jodi McLoughlin and her husband, Eric, Adam Bushey and his wife, Lisa and Dallas Bushey and his fiancée, Sheena Wilson and twenty two great grandchildren. She is also survived by a niece, Nancy Willett and her husband, Jim, of St. Albans. Janet’s family would like to thank the staff at the Franklin County Rehab Center, especially, Jack, and all the wonderful caring caregivers on the Four Seasons wing, for their support to her and her family during her stay. Funeral services will be held later this spring and will be announced at a later date.
