Janet Fraser Jager St. Albans - Janet Fraser Jager, 69, a longtime area resident, passed away early Thursday, August 31, 2006, at the Haven Health Care Facility with her loving family at her side. She was born in Dexter, Maine on June 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Harold James and Miriam (Jones) Fraser. She was married on June 23, 1956, in Newport, Maine to Ronald W. Jager, who survives her. Janet was a cosmetologist and retired after twenty-one years with the Kinney’s Drug Store as a clerk. She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, the Christian Contractors Association and was a member of the Rainbow Girls. Survivors include her husband of fifty years; Ronald of St. Albans, two sons; Michael W. Jager and his wife, Giovanna of Burlington, Vermont and Scott W. Jager and his wife, Susan of Spring Hill, Florida, a daughter; Ronna Lee Messier and her husband, James of Franklin, Vermont, eight grandchildren; Eli A. Jager, Mia A. Jager, Oliver R. Jager, Shanna L. Jager, Chelsea E. Jager, Sierra A. Jager, Joseph R. Surrell and Erin E. Morgan, a great-grandson; Gabriel K. Morgan, a sister; Kay Fraser Skibinski of Brunswick, Maine, a sister-in-law; Mary Lou Fraser of Bangor Maine, a brother-in-law; Wayne Jager and his wife, Dorothy of Fonda, New York, three nieces; Kimberly J. McInnis, Kelley L. Dyer and Elise A. Miller, two nephews; David D. Covell and Brian P. Fraser. In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by a brother, Jean Paul Fraser. Janet’s family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Haven Health Care Facility and the Franklin County Rehab Center for the care that she received during her illness. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 4, 2006, at 1:00 P.M. in the Trinity Presbyterian Church on South Main Street with the Reverend Robert Bjerkaas officiating. Interment will be on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. in the family lot at St. Albans Bay Cemetery. Janet’s family will receive friends on Sunday, September 3, from 5 - 8 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
