Obituary for Jane E. Henry

Jane E. Henry “Gramma Jane” Georgia Shore - Jane E. Henry,57, passed away on Tuesday evening February 6, 2007, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care with her family at her side. She was born in Burlington, Vermont on February 15, 1949, the daughter of the late James and Evelyn(Miller) Reilly. Survivors include her husband of thirty-three years, Dean E. Henry, Jr. of Georgia, her daughter, Sherri Lawton and her husband, Randy of St. Albans, her grandchildren, Dylan and Chrissy, who brought so much joy to her life, also her brother, James “Mim” Reilly and his wife, Mary of Grand Isle, her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Santin of Waterbury, her four nieces, Stephanie and Heidi, Julie and Laura Jane, her nephew, John and a great-nephew, Carter and many close friends In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Reilly and John “Buzzy” Reilly and a sister, Annie Reilly. Jane graduated from Mount St. Mary’s High School in Burlington. She retired from I. B.M. and drove school bus in Georgia and surrounding area schools for the Grand Avenue Enterprises. Jane enjoyed her beach and sunsets from her deck. She was an avid painter and will always be remembered for her artistic abilities. A special thanks from Jane’s family to Deb, Donnie and Dr. Thomas for the care ans support that she received during her illness. A celebration of Jane’s life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy Angels Parish Hall on Lake Street, St. Albans. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jane’s name to the American Heart Association, Vermont Affiliate Processing Center, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, New York 13220-3049 or American Cancer Society, 121 Connor Way Suite 240, P.O. Box 1460, Williston, Vermont 05495-1460.
