Obituary for Henry Harland Reynolds

Sheldon – Henry Harland Reynolds a lifelong area resident passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 25, 2013, at his winter residence in Zephyrhills Florida. Born in Fairfield on September 5, 1939, he was the son of the late, Leo O. and Lila (Lamphere) Reynolds. Henry was 73 years old. On August 22, 1959, in Fairfield, Henry married Jo Anne Bessette, who survives him. Henry was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper, loved being at his camp, tending to his large garden and bird feeders. He was known to his family as “A Jack of All Trades - A Master of None”. He was a man who could do anything. He worked for various farms and sugar operations in Fairfield and for the Soule Family Sugaring operation. More recently he retired from IBM in 1995. He was a member of St. Albans Lodge # 1566, BPOE and the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jo Anne, of Sheldon; their children, Laurie Fortin and husband, Doug, and their children, Harliss and Jesse, of Sheldon, Nancy Ward and husband, Brian, and their children, Kristin Lila and Kristopher Bruce, of Franklin, Steven Reynolds and wife, Sharon, and their children, Caleb and Jacob Reynolds and Joey, Tyler, Shayna and Nicky Laviolette, of Sheldon, and Dennis Reynolds and his girlfriend, Tracy Bilodeau, and his son, Curtis, of Sheldon. Henry is also survived by his sister, Barbara Trombley of Sheldon and brother, Wayne Reynolds of Fairfield. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jeannie Marie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans. A funeral service will then be held in the Heald Chapel at 5:30 PM with the Reverend William Giroux, Pastor of St. Patrick Church in Fairfield officiating.
