Swanton: Elizabeth “Betty” Page Bergeron, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 24th at 12:45am. Betty was born to Edwin and Virginia (Ross) Page in Knowlton, Quebec, Canada. She worked at Albany Felt until marrying Ronald Bergeron, gaining a readymade family of nine children who loved her dearly along with the 20 grand and 16 great grandchildren. Their door and kitchen were always open and their faith in God an inspiration and example. She is survived by her stepchildren, Joyce Martin (Walter), Gary Bergeron (Jenny) Cheryl Charbonneau, Sandra Kenyon (Charles), Wendy Alexander (Chris), Bruce Bergeron (Mitzy), Richard Bergeron (Charlotte), Randall Bergeron (Rene), brother, Leslie Page, sister, Bertha Dudley and sisters-in-law, Catherine King and Marguerite, 20 grand, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband Ron, stepdaughter Shelley Bergeron, great grandson Paxton Hauselmann, her parents, brothers; Walter, Bernard, Kenneth, Harry, Ross and Hugh and sisters; Minnie, Hattie and Ethel. Funeral Services will be held this Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Knights of Columbus Hall, 242 South Main Street, St. Albans with visiting hours from 1:00 pm to the hour of the funeral. Interment will be at the convenience of family in the East Franklin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Home Health Agency, Inc. 3 Home Health Circle, Suite One; St. Albans, VT 05478.
