Obituary for Earl L. Taylor

Earl L. Taylor St. Albans - Earl L. Taylor, 78, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007, at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Noyan, Quebec, April 30, 1929. Earl has lived in St. Albans for eighteen years, coming from Colchester where he owned and operated Taylor's Automotive. Earl was a member of The Church of the Rock in St. Albans. His life was centered around his family, his church, and his work as a mechanic. Earl is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Jeanine (Lague) Taylor, of St. Albans, four sons; Leslie Taylor of Alburgh, St. Albans City Police Chief, Gary Taylor and his wife, Diane of St. Albans, Ronald Taylor and his wife, Susan, of Burlington and Michael Taylor and his wife, Judith, of Swanton, a sister, Eleanor Hanna of Massachusetts, his grandchildren; Crystal, Kurtis, Angela, Jason, Courtney, Ashley, Jesse, Dawn, Danielle, Joshua, and Rachel, his great grandchildren; Caleb, Ethan, Braden, Addison, Brandan, Kelsey, Evan and Damien and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Donna Taylor. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. in the Church of the Rock, Fairfax Road, St. Albans. The Reverend Roland Ludlam will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery. Earl's family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin - Grand Isle United Way, P.O. Box 387, St. Albans, Vermont 05478.
