Obituary for Donald E. Blodgett, Sr.
St. Albans – Donald E. Blodgett, Sr., passed away early Monday morning October 25, 2010, at the age of 63 following a brief battle with cancer. His loving family was at his side. Donald was employed over the years by Lemieux Security, Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. and UVM Roofing. Donald is survived by his longtime companion, Eunice Brace and her family; his daughters, Donna and Ashley Blodgett; his sisters, Esther and brother-in-law, Bob Sweet, Mary Straight and Liz Vose. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Donald was predeceased by his mother and father, Betty (Whitney) and Alfred Blodgett; a sister Alberta Lamphear and granddaughter, Sierra Parent. Calling hours will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 30th at St. Mary’s Parish on Fairfield Street followed by a Mass at 12 Noon. There will be a gathering at 23 Hoyt Street following the mass.
