Obituary for David Alan Richards, Sr.
Franklin County - David Alan Richards, Sr., 35, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 31, 2008, in Monkton, Vermont. Born on March 6, 1973, in St. Albans, David was the son of the late Homer Richards and the late Jane (Lestage) McWilliams. David attended Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans. He owned and operated Final Cuts Tree & Crane Service and then the family business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and especially enjoyed being with his family. He leaves his three sons, Eric Messier-Richards, David Richards, Jr. and Robert Richards with their mother, Tammy all of Monkton; his companion, Darlene Major of Richford and her three children; Brandy, James and Shane; his sister, Lisa Richards of Goffstown, New Hampshire; his three brothers: Paul, Mark and Brian Parker; his step-father, Gary McWilliams of St. Albans and his three children, Gary, Paul and Jennifer; his step-mother, Kolleen Richards of Maine and her daughter, Mary. He also leaves two special friends, Randall “Hooch†Turner and Ben Newton. David’s family will receive friends on Saturday, September 6, 2008, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
