Fairfield: Cleopatra P. Tzimokas, 82, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 in the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. Born in Yerres, France on Oct. 19, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Pandelis and Marica (Sjouridias) Kyriazis. She married John Tzimokas in 1951 and resided in Montreal. In 1967, she and John relocated to Swanton, and then in 1976 made their home in Fairfield. Prior to their retirement, they were wholesale furriers and proprietors of Bettina Millinery Corporation on Catherine Street in St. Albans. Mrs. Tzimokas enjoyed farming and gardening. She was fond of animals, especially the goats, sheep, dogs and geese which she and John raised. She leaves her husband of 61 years, John Tzimokas, her daughter and son-in-law, Mary & Harrry Schwartz of Barnegat Light, NJ, her son and daughter-in-law, Dino Tzimokas and Ev Filion of Montreal, PQ, a brother, John Kyriazis and two sisters, Anna Karpathios and Irene Papagianopoulos, Arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home; St. Albans.
