Obituary for Christine Ann Malboeuf
St. Albans - Christine Ann Malboeuf, 57, a lifelong resident of this area passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 21, 2008, from injuries sustained in a house fire. Born in St. Albans on December 9, 1950, Christine was the daughter of Henry C. Pare and Ann (Kalahan) Fonda. Christine was a 1968 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans. She spent most of her working career in clerical and sales for the former W.W.S.R. radio station and for the St. Albans Messenger. In recent years, she worked for the hospice program at Franklin County Home Health. She enjoyed walking her dog and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Ann and Charles Fonda of St. Albans; two sons and their families, Joseph and Meaghan Malboeuf and their children Anna and Charlie, of St. Albans and Jon and Kelsey Malboeuf of St. Albans; and a brother, Glenn Pare and his wife, Mary. Christine is also survived by her partner of 7 years, William Graham and a dear friend, Steve Babbie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. in Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church with The Reverend Maurice J. Roy as celebrant. Christine’s family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
