Obituary for Charlotte Roseland Rainville

St. Albans – Charlotte Roseland Rainville, a longtime area resident passed away Tuesday evening, June 25, 2013, at her home with her loving husband at her side. Born on January 25, 1935, in Ludlow, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Proulx. Charlotte was 78 years old. On January 1, 1956, in Bellows Falls, Vermont, she married Jacques H. Rainville, who survives her. She was a member of Green Mountain Post # 1, American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed crocheting and camping with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jacques, of St. Albans; their daughter, Sharlene Larrow and her husband, Lloyd, and their children, Tyler, MaKenna, Linsey of St. Albans; their son, Gregory Rainville and his companion, Lori Vincelette, and his children, Tammy, Terry and Gregory, Jr and her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Casey, Tiauna and Roger, Jr. Charlotte is also survived by her sisters, Betty Bouffard of Bellows Falls and Marlene Wade, of Alstead, New Hampshire and was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Marro and brother-in-law, Roy Wade. At Charlotte’s request funeral services will be private with interment to follow in the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery. Father Roger L. Charbonneau will officiate.
