Obituary for Charlotte M. Jacobs

Fairfax – Charlotte M. Jacobs passed away Saturday March 21, 2020, at Northwestern Medical Center with her loving family at her side.

Born in Swanton, Vermont on August 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late G. Clark Morse and Winifred (Adams) Morse. Charlotte was 90 years old.

Charlotte was a 1947 graduate of Bellows Free Academy. She then went straight into the workforce, as a bank teller at Franklin-Lamoille Bank. By the end of her career, she retired as the Vice President of Human Resources in charge of several bank branches. She loved reading, knitting and playing cards. She cherished her summers at the family camp on Lake Champlain and all the countless times she spent with her loving family over the years.

Survivors include her husband Lyle Jacobs; her children, Robert Jacobs, of Fairfax and Kimberly Jacobs, and her fiancée Keith Dunbar of Craftsbury. Charlotte is also survived by her granddaughter, Rebecca Jacobs and her husband, Joe DeStefano, and grandson, Kyle Jacobs, as well as her great granddaughter Gabriella DeStefano and mother of Rebecca and Kyle, Victoria Jacobs.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her brothers, Howard, Francis, and Carleton Morse.

Due to the circumstances surrounding our country, funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.

Those planning an expression of sympathy, memorials may be made to The First Congregational Church, 27 Church Street, Saint Albans Vermont 05478.
