Winooski - Carolyn Mae Regner, 82, was born in Bronx, NY on March 29, 1932, to Marie and Herman Teska. She passed away on February 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Teska. She is survived by her children, Janet Blethen and husband, Dana, of Cumming, GA, Lauren Wooden and husband, Howard, of Winooski, VT, and Stephen Meschke and wife, Jonna, of Winter Haven, FL. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, David and Anna Blethen, Kathryn Kogge, Brian, Scott, Emily, Spencer, and Matthew Meschke, and four great grandchildren. She married twice, first to Robert E. Meschke (deceased) and then to Carl G. Regner, Jr. of Florida. Over the years, Carol resided in New York, New Jersey, Nebraska, Washington, Florida, and Alabama before retiring to Vermont in 1996. Her career began in New York at the phone company and eventually she became an executive secretary for many years working in New Jersey and Alabama where she was an active member of the Hoover Oakmont Presbyterian Church. Carol enjoyed playing and listening to piano, was an avid baseball fan, had an infectious laugh and loved being with her family. There will be a private family remembrance.
