Obituary for Brett Robert Elliott

St. Albans – Brett Robert Elliott, a lifelong resident of this area passed away unexpectley Saturday, August 1, 2015, at his home in Georgia with his fiancée and son by his side. Born on April 16, 1991, in St. Albans, he was the son of Carlton and Trish (Vincelette) Elliott. Brett was 24 years old. Brett loved spending time deer hunting with his dad Carlton. Brett was an outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, camping and horseshoes, but being with his family was most important to him. The most precious moments were spent with his loving son Carsyn. He loved spending time with his loving fiancée Kristen who he spent 7 years with. He had a strong bond with his grandparents Marylou and Alan. Brett loved his parents and siblings dearly and would do anything for them and them for him. He was a BFA graduate of 2009. He loved driving his Subaru Impreza. Brett had a deep love for animals especially Siberian Huskies that he just couldn’t wait to have. Brett was a loving sweet man as well as an amazing father and fiancé. Brett touched each and every person that he came in contact with. He will be dearly missed and loved by many friends and family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Kristen Therriault and their 4 year old son, Carsyn Therriault of Georgia; his brother, Jacob Elliott and his sisters, Brooke Elliott, Kyla Smith and Elise Smith, as well as his grandparents, Mary Lou and Alan Vincelette and Bill Elliott. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Christy and Scott Dion of Milton, Dawn and Scott Coolbeth of St Albans, Alan and Christine Vincelette Jr of St Albans, Shawn and Krystal Elliott of Hyde Park, Christine and Jim Bennett of Alabama, Carla and Mark Baltzell of Swanton and Melissa Elliott of Georgia and by many cousins especially Cousin/Best friend, Lacey Wolcott of St Albans. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Elliott. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans. A funeral service will then follow at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of St. Albans, 29 Congress Street. Interment will follow in the family lot in Hope Cemetery in Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a fund set up for his son, Carsyn Therriault, c/o Key Bank, 185 Route 7, South, Milton, Vermont 05468.
