Obituary for Bonnie J. Marshall

Bonnie J. Marshall a longtime resident of this community died Wednesday evening, August 10, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Moose River, Maine on January 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Bernice (Brado) Marshall. Bonnie was 68 years old.

Bonnie possessed a special love for cats and all animals, especially feeding the birds and other wildlife. Bonnie was a natural born athlete who enjoyed playing basketball, softball and volleyball. She was also a very good golfer, who frequently played at Rocky Ridge and Ralph Myhre golf courses. During her working career, Bonnie was a longtime associate with I.B.M.

Survivors include her house mate and friend, Cindy Paquet; two sons and their spouses, Todd Lawrence and Terry Light of Richmond and Jeff and Kim Lawrence of St. Albans and two granddaughters, Jenna and Shelby Lawrence.

She is also survived by her brothers and their spouses, Lane and Carolyn Marshall of Richmond, Paul and June Marshall of Enfield, New Hampshire, Lee and Francine Marshall of Hinesburg and Robert and Penny Marshall of Bloomfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.

At Bonnie’s request, service will be private and at the convenience of her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bonnie’s name may be made to the Chittenden County Humane Society, 142 Kindness Court, South Burlington, Vermont 05403.
