Obituary for Beryl Dezotell Kalahan

Beryl Dezotell Kalahan St. Albans - Beryl Dezotell Kalahan, 80, a longtime area resident passed away on Monday, February 5, 2007, at the Haven Health Care Facility. She was born in Belvidere, Vermont on December 13, 1926, the daughter of the late Harold and Muriel (Coburn) Dezotell. On September 13, 1950, she married John James Kalahan, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 22, 1999. Survivors include her children, John J. Kalahan, III and his wife, Dorothy of Bristol, Connecticut, Kevin M. Kalahan and his wife, Sharon of Fairfax, Brian Kalahan of St. Albans and Lori Mends of Scottsdale, Arizona, her two grandchildren, Shannon and Sean Kalahan both of Bristol, Connecticut, her sister, Verna Longe and her husband, Wallace of Jeffersonville, her five brothers, Willard Dezotelle and his wife, Delia of Waterville, Lloyd Dezotelle and his wife, Marlene of Waterville, Phillip Dezotell of Michigan, Lyman Dezotelle and his wife, Beverly of Northfield and Harold “Bud” Dezotell and his wife, Rena of Jeffersonville, her uncle, Myron Dezotell of Richford and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family Interment will be in the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Beryl’s name may be made to the Franklin County Home Health Agency, Hospice Program, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, Vermont 05478.Assisting Beryl’s family is the Heald Funeral Home of St. Albans.
