Obituary for Barbara C. Booth - Funeral Held
Barbara C. Booth St. Albans: Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Jean (Campbell) Booth who passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 was held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 12:00 PM Noon in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with The Rev. Dr. Marguerite C. Gage officiating. Several members of Barbara’s family shared in words of remembrance, including a daughter, Pamela Mosher, nephew, David Bray and granddaughter, Heidi Holland. Accompanying the congregation in singing “In the Garden†and “How Great Thou Art†was organist, Martha Maxfield. A selection of special hymns, including “He Touched Meâ€, “Just a Closer Walk with Thee†and “Precious Lord, Take My Hand†was sung by guitarist and soloist, Mary-Jo Gillilan. Attending was a large delegation from Hawk’s Nest. Also, there was representation from the Phi Alfa, Chi Rho and Circle 21 of the United Methodist Women, Fletcher-Allen Health Care, Jolley Associates and Total Home Center, former members of Chittenden Chapter 59 OES and former members of the Campfire Girls. The bearers were sons-in-law, Dale Mosher and Barry Mosher, grandson, Steve Ellis, nephews, David Bray and Kevin Bray and family friend, David Charboneau. Spring interment will be in Milton Village Cemetery. Immediately following the funeral service, a reception luncheon was hosted by the St. Paul’s united Methodist Church Women’s Mission Society. Assisting the family was the staff of the Heald Funeral Home.
