Obituary for Andre "Andy" Paul Cadieux, Sr.

Dover- Foxcroft, ME/St. Albans, VT - André P. Cadieux, Sr, 66, passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 29, 2011, in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Born on December 18, 1944, in St. Albans, Andy was the son of the late Napoleon and Angeline (Rock) Cadieux. Andy had incredible talent. He had a passion for cars and love for anything that was a challenge. He did an amazing job with everything he has ever touched, including our hearts. Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Mayo) Cadieux of Dover- Foxcroft; their children, Lorie Merrill and husband, Steve, André Paul Cadieux, Jr and wife, Lisa, Daniel Cadieux and wife, Laurie, Sue Smith and husband, Fred Parmelee and Phil Cadieux and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Amanda Merrill, Bryanna & Courtney Cadieux, Cassandra, Justin & Meghan Cadieux, Sarah & Emily Smith and Bryce & Claire Cadieux and great grand-children, Chase & Lilly. Andy is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Simmone & Leo Martin, Marcel & Rose Cadieux, Richard & Kathy Cadieux, Lucille & Dana Ellis, Delia & Richard Benfrew, Solange & Larry Bergeron, Roger & Corita Cadieux, Regin & Roger Lebel, Angelina Rock and Florence Bechard. In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by siblings, Bertha Polaski, Hector Brow, Clement Cadieux, Leon Cadieux and Alice Piasano. Andy’s family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2011, from 4 to 8 PM in the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 4th at 11:00 A.M. in Holy Angles Catholic Church on Lake Street. The Reverend Maurice J. Roy will be the celebrant.
