St. Albans – Ellen Marie Brace, a lifelong resident of this area passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, at her home with her family at her side.

She was born on December 23, 1956, in St. Albans the daughter of the late Fredrick “Manny” and Edilene (Cook) Brace. Ellen was 56 years old.

Ellen was a longtime member of St. Albans Lodge # 1090, LOOM Auxiliary.

Survivors include her siblings; Frederick Brace and friend, Nancy LaBrie, Janice Lotowitz and husband, Michael, James Brace and wife, Tina, Eunice Brace and friend, Dan Locke, Eugene Brace, her “Baby Brother” Charles Brace and wife, Sally, and brother, “Jim Jim” Brace; special aunts, Barbara Smith and Addie Couture and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph, twin sister, Helen, and longtime companion, Richard Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So Main St.
