St. Albans - Charles Ernest "Charlie" Noel, a lifelong resident of this area passed away at his home Thursday, December 27, 2012.

Charlie was born on June 26, 1945, in St. Albans; he was the son of the late Antonio and Simonne (Bilodeau) Noel. He was 67 years old.

Charlie was a longtime employee of Vermont Structural Steel. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed watching TV. Survivors include his siblings; Mary Ann Dashno of St. Albans, Roland Noel and his wife, Elizabeth, of Swanton, Albert Noel and his wife, Patricia, of Portland, Oregon, Madeline “Maggie” Belval of Essex and Gerard Noel of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Lambert) Noel; his brother, Yves, and brother-in-law, Wendell Dashno.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of his family. Interment will be in the family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
