Department of Veteran Affairs
The Main Page of the Department of Veteran Affairs which lists all the benefits available to a veteran.
We suggest when making funeral arrangments for a deceased veteran that a copy of his DD214 (Discharge Papers) be brought to the funeral home. We will apply for a flag, military honors, gravemarker and if eligible, for burial benefits.
Social Security Administration
This is the Main Page for the Social Security Adminstration. It will be able to answer many questions about the benefits for suriviors and death benefits.
When making funeral arrangements, we ask that you bring the social security number of the deceased with you, on your behalf, we will file the Notification of Death with the Social Security Administration.
